Rob Maudsley

Sylvan Lake became home for me, shortly after meeting my wife, back in 2016. We got married in 2017, and now have 3 wonderful kids. I got into the Financial Advising world in 2008 right out of high school while living in Calgary, and spent 3 years with another company. Since then, life has taken me many places, finally landing at Solomon Financial in 2020.

During the years in between, I found myself on all sorts of adventures. I lived in New Zealand for a year after arriving there by myself with no more than a map, a backpack, and somewhere to sleep for 2 nights. I spent 4 months in Mozambique, Africa, with IRIS Global serving the community at feeding programs, teenage mentorship programs, village outreaches, and teaching English. I then spent a month touring China/Tibet visiting temples and monasteries.

After arriving back in Canada, I helped open a non-profit coffee shop, Timber Coffee Co. in Sylvan Lake. Lindsay and I then spent almost 3 years as the Next-Gen Pastors at a local church. And, shortly after being laid off due to Covid is when I ran into Dan Dyck, the owner of Solomon Financial, and my journey back into Financial Advising began! 

 

As we settle into family life, we are proud to call Sylvan Lake home, and raise our family in this beautiful community. I am honoured to work with the team at Solomon, and I look forward to a long career serving as a Financial Advisor. Please feel free to reach out anytime!
